Manny Source Learn ("the Platform," "we," "us," or "our") is an online educational platform dedicated to teaching music production, mixing, mastering, home studio recording, audio engineering, music business fundamentals, and creative development.

We collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide educational services, improve the learning experience, personalize lessons, save student progress, and enhance Source Mentor responses. We do not sell your personal information.

By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

We collect information you provide directly, data generated through your learning activity, technical information from your device, and information from trusted third-party services that help us operate the Platform.

The types of information we collect include:

• Conversations with Source Mentor.

When you create an account, complete onboarding, update your profile, or interact with Platform features, you may provide information such as:

• Your experience level, primary DAW, favorite genre, and learning goals.
• Reflections, notes, mission reports, and other content you voluntarily submit.
• Communications with our support team.

Your account information — including email address, password, and authentication provider details — is used to identify you, secure your account, and communicate important updates. We support email/password authentication and social login providers such as Google and Apple.

We recommend using a strong, unique password and enabling any additional security features available on your account. We will never ask you for your password by email.

To power your personalized learning journey, we collect data about your progress through lessons, missions, quizzes, ear training exercises, and other educational activities. This includes:

• Lessons started, completed, or revisited.
• Quiz scores and teach-back evaluations.
• Mission completions, reports, and debriefs.
• Bookmarks, achievements, badges, and certificates earned.
• Estimated skill strengths across topics such as EQ, compression, and balancing.
• Time spent learning and current resume positions within lessons.

This data is used to track your progress, unlock new content, generate recommendations, and display your My Journey™ timeline.

Source Mentor is our educational AI assistant. When you chat with Source Mentor, we collect and store the conversation to provide helpful, context-aware guidance and to improve the educational experience and platform quality.

Specifically, we use conversation data to:

• Generate personalized responses based on your learning history and preferences.
• Build Mentor Memories that help Source Mentor adapt to your style and goals.
• Identify common questions and learning gaps so we can improve lessons.
• Maintain continuity across sessions so your mentor remembers where you left off.

We review conversation data responsibly and in aggregate where possible. We do not use your private conversations for advertising, and we do not sell chat content to third parties. You can manage your Mentor Memory preferences in your account settings.

When you access the Platform, we automatically collect certain technical information to ensure the Platform works properly and securely. This may include:

• IP address and approximate location (used for security and analytics).
• Browser type, operating system, and device type.
• Screen size and viewport information for responsive design.
• App crashes, error logs, and performance data.

Our AI features, including Source Mentor, are designed to support your learning. AI responses are generated based on your questions, profile, progress, and optional Mentor Memories.

While we work hard to provide accurate and helpful information, AI outputs are generated automatically and may not always be perfect. We encourage you to use Source Mentor as a learning companion, not as a substitute for professional advice.

We use analytics to understand how students learn, where they get stuck, and which features are most valuable. Analytics data is typically aggregated and anonymized where possible.

This helps us improve lesson content, refine recommendations, fix bugs, and build new features that support independent artists on their learning journey.

We rely on trusted third-party service providers to operate the Platform. These may include:

• Cloud infrastructure and database providers.
• Authentication providers such as Google and Apple.
• AI model providers that power Source Mentor.
• Analytics and error-reporting services.
• Payment processors, if and when paid memberships or purchases are introduced.

These providers only access information needed to perform their services and are contractually required to protect your data. Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their own privacy policies.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. When you delete your account, we will remove your personal information and learning data from active systems within a reasonable period.

Some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited time as required for security, legal compliance, or operational continuity. Once backups are cycled out, the deletion becomes permanent.

Manny Source Learn is based in the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

We will comply with applicable data protection laws, including providing appropriate safeguards for international transfers. If you are located in a region with specific privacy rights, such as the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, please contact us for information about how to exercise those rights.
